Fun Fact: All the taxes paid over a lifetime by the average American are spent by
the government in less than a second.

We tried out a costume for Devin for Halloween next year.
It's a walking department store clothes rack. |

 |
Devin took part in the Early Childhood Center's
Thanksgiving performance. He is the indian on the far right.
See
the video of Devin's performance here! I have two favorite parts of
the video: 1. Devin's classmate, a hilarious little Pillsbury Doughboy,
which I focused in on at the beginning, and 2. Devin's "aw-shucks" attitude
at the end when he doesn't want us to know how much he likes the applause,
but then gives in and smiles from ear to ear. |

This is Angela's entry in the "Festival of Tables" that the
ladies put on every year at our church. There were over 100
intricately decorated tables. I came up there to take a gander and was
amazed at the creativity. But, I just couldn't understand the
motivation for all of the work. My friend, Jarrod Roberts, said, "You
know when you have all of the guys over to watch the Super Bowl and you eat
until you are miserable? This is like that, except for women." |

Mommy and Caitlin make crafts together. |

 |
My friend, Stephen Merrit, and I went to the P.O.D. concert
at the Bronco Bowl in Dallas.
P.O.D., which is
an abbreviation for "Payable On Death," has been in the Christian music
industry for many years. However, they have finally made it huge in
the mainstream market with their hit, "Alive." |

I was calmly sitting on the couch, when these two hooligans
started piling pillows on top of me and jumping and terrorizing me. In
this picture, I got a hand free as Caitlin screams in terror. |

1. Thanksgiving at Mamaw Speed's, 2001.
2. Devin hangs out with his older cousins; looks like trouble.
3. Angela conks out after too much turkey. Read here for a
debunking of
L-tryptophan. |

Angela did a beautiful job on the Christmas lights this
year with a star on every roof-tip. |

Santa Claus! |

Nathan & Suzy Hubble came over and brought banana split
fixin's. I promise you Nathan and I had a couple of scoops of ice cream in
our bowls, but still couldn't beat these girls who shoveled these bowls of
sugar down in record time. Yes, they cleaned their plates! |
